Who can use Meloa
You must be at least 13 years old. Meloa is currently invite/closed-beta only — we may open it more broadly later, at which point these terms would be revisited.
Your account
You need an account (email and password) to use Meloa. Keep your password secure and don't share your account with anyone else — you're responsible for activity that happens under it. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give Meloa the license needed to store, process, and display it back to you and to whoever your privacy settings allow — nothing more. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
What isn't allowed
Harassment, hateful conduct, spam, impersonation, illegal content, infringing someone else's rights, or attempting to bypass another user's privacy settings or Meloa's security measures. Reported content and accounts are reviewed by a human moderator, who may remove content, suspend, or ban an account in response.
Links to other sites
Projects can include a link to an external pattern or recipe page. Those sites aren't controlled by Meloa, and we're not responsible for their content or practices.
Cost
Meloa is currently free to use, with no ads and no paid features. If that changes in the future, these terms would be updated first, and you'd be told before anything you use starts costing money.
Account suspension, bans, and deletion
We may suspend or ban an account for violating these terms. You may delete your own account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterward.
No warranty
Meloa is provided as-is, during an active beta. We don't guarantee it will be available without interruption, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and features may change as it develops.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Meloa and whoever operates it aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including anything posted by other users.
Indemnity
You agree to cover any reasonable losses Meloa incurs as a direct result of your own content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Meloa develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Together with our Privacy Policy, which these terms incorporate by reference, this is the entire agreement between you and Meloa.
